Trust JB Weld or not???

One word of caution with these aluminum solders. I am told by an expert demonstrator that it will not adhere to a surface that has been bead blasted, because of the traces of embedded glass. I always clean my parts with a mechanical burr, rather than grinding wheels.

Also, with JB Weld I would be concerned about its performance when temperature cycled under hot / cold oil. I.e actually inside an engine........ I don't recollect seeing it in any new engines...... :-)
