Racing Cam?

Post by sixtiescycle » Wed Feb 06, 2013 4:02 pm

I was digging through my parts today looking for nos kickstart pawls I had misplaced somewhere and came across this cam from Competition Cycle, Milwaukee, WI, part #460-0071. Does anyone have any info/spec's for this cam? Several years ago I had a Harmon-Collins cam and all the spec's were on the box. This one has nothing.

Interesting cam. It almost looks like an old Norris regrind. Pop it in a motor with light springs on two valves and measure lift every few degrees to build a lift curve.

Or find someone with a Cam Doctor and rotary and linear encoders
