Lightened Crankshaft

Post by CB77GUY » Thu Jan 10, 2013 3:08 pm

Has anyone had any experience with lightening the crankshaft on a 305? I want to look into the possibility of doing this to my vintage racer. I know that Falicon performs this service and I was wondering if there was anyone else and if there are any issues involved that would need to be addressed.

Hey Joe,
I have lightened a few. Simaller to Yoshimura's diet about 5 LBS. The real problem is having good rollers and cages to reassemble.
