Top endTop endSo I am confused. If I replace valves etc, how do I get the camshaft positioned back to tdc ? I have the engine apart to replace pistons and rings, but I am considering new valves too. What other work is recommended for the top end? Isn't there something with the seats that I should do also?

Re: Top endIf ya replace the valves ya will for sure need to cut new seats.
In my experience Head/Valve work isn't for a garage mechanic. ............lm
Install plug, valves closed, fill to Over Valve surface (I use acetone as it evaporates quickly), look into intake/exhaust ports for sign of leak. ...........lm
