Oil filter gear

We used to plonk the flywheel in the freezer for a couple of hours then heat the ring gear, whip the flywheel out and it just drops onto the shoulder. Let it all settle back to room temperature and Robert's Your Mother's Brother!

Thanks e3 Steve. Yeah .. that's what I did with the shaft. My wife keeps wondering what those weird dinner items in the freezer are though.

But you only get 1-quick shot. Soon as the froze part hits the metal, it sucks the missing energy back in.

Sorry LM. I thought he said he got the parts from you. And I certainly did not mean to imply that you send people the wrong parts or thay anyone else would do that. But we all make mistakes when we get gray hair and I was just wondering if Murphy's Law was in play here. Sorry if I insulted you. It was certainly not my intent.
