Frame/Engine ID

Hi Folks! Can anyone tell me what year(s) the following Frame and Engine numbers correspond to:

Title says its a '66...

Title/Frame: CA781011192
Engine: CA77E-101125

Also, isn't the engine model designation supposed to match that indicated the Frame (i.e., CA78E-xxxxxx)?

You seem to be missing one number from the engine, should be 7 digits. It's not uncommon for CA77 and CA78s to be found together. What is really rare are matching #s. Please take a moment ot edit your location into your profile, you'll get more responses, and will probably find someone nearby you that is also a Forum memeber.

Can you confirm the date of manufacture for both engine & frame (CA781011192)? Also, how many dreams were made for this model year?

I can't find where the frame serial number is located on my honda dream 305 did they use frame numbers or just the numbers on the engine?

On the frame left side down near the rider foot peg and battery cover. .......lm
