kickstart bushing

Post by mapotoast » Thu Apr 08, 2010 2:53 pm

Hi All,

I tried including a few photos of my transmission parts.(not sure I succeeded) The gears appear to be in pretty good condition. I believe the engine had 14,00 miles on it. I plan on replacing the 14mm bushing that Andy McDowell's shop carries. I noticed sharp edges on the back side of the kickstart bushing as seen in photo. Haven't been able to locate one yet, I tried western hills already. Any ideas or suggestions on this. This is my first 305 project.

Thanks
Marc P.

Welcome Marc, I'm sure you will find this place a very helpful place to be. You'll find your bushing and many other good things you may need at this link.www.classichondarestoration.com. Tim is a very good man to do business with.
As far as your pics go, if they did not stick it is because they are too large for this site and you need to shrink them. If you need help with that go to off topic section and on page 5 and follow Gun's tutorial on how to minimize for this forum... Looking forward to seeing your tranny/project. Hope we can lend a hand. RW

RW,

Thanks for the reply. I'll get a hold of Tim at that restoration shop. Trying to post photos again.
