"Hap Jones", "Kenig", "MC" &am

Post by wombat200 » Mon Sep 01, 2008 7:18 am

Anyone had much experience with any of these brands, or others?

I have a set of 3mm o/s Hap jones CB72 pistons I'm planning on using in a CA72. I also have a set of 1mm o/s Kenig pistons for a CB77 that seem to have high-compression crowns.

I also have a few sets of "MC" brand pistons for CB72 & CB77, including a 3mm o/s set for the CB77, with 'ART' cast on them. My understanding is that the 'ART' pistons are Hondas own manufacturer - IE, OEM equipment.

Any opinions on the quality of these pistons would be welcome. I will probably fit them all to various bikes I have & would rather not install complete rubbish!!

Thanks!
