hey everyone, just recently acquired a 1973 cl175 in horrible shape, lying in a barn, that i am trying to piece back together.
The triple tree top clamp has a crack on either side, probably caused by the snug bolts, and when i went to order one/find one on ebay, it has come to my attention that the part I have doesnt match the manual or the old microfische at my honda dealer...

attached is a photo of the top clamp

i guess my real question is,,, what year/bike? is this triple tree from?? i need a replacement and the 72/73 top clamp doesnt have the snug bolts, and it appears that the hole that the fork pipes go through is a different diameter??

ANY help at all is much appreciated.

Hello,

Where you located?

I've got a 72 CB175 that I'm gonna part out or would sell complete as is.

I don't know but the clamp may be the same.

I'm In southern middle Tennessee.

Brad,

The clamp in your pic looks like it's for an SL350.

flathead, thank man but im up across the line in vancouver, british columbia... my problem is not in trying to locate a 72/73 top clamp (because the fork pipes wont fit, i dont think...) i'll look into this sl350, cant find a p/n stamped on the top clamp though???

p.s. flathead all i really need is this clamp and the turn indicator ears, but that may all change...
