restorationsHi, I have been reading your posts and Davomoto and all I can say is I am in awe of the machines you turn out.
I have just purchased a frame from one seller and a motor from another which I am waiting to arrive here in the UK, Itseems these machines are plentiful in the US and Australia but are few and far between over here in the UK. The model I will be building is a 71 K2 non battery model. I will post some pics when the items arrive and progress as I go along and would appreciate constructive criticism. My cousin got one of these for Christmas when I was a kid. In Australia they had a speedo and indicators as you could road register them. It was the first bike I ever rode, and the first bike I crashed... It was a week old and I dropped it on some gravel. I was crying because I tore up my arm, and he was crying because I tore up his beautiful bike.
Seeing your perfect restoration (his was exactly the same) brought back some precious childhood memories. Congratulations on some first rate work. Dave in Oz.
