Has anyone out in 305 land purchased one of these repro seats? I see that Apex cycle has the , and also sellers from Asia on ebay. Just wondering about the quality. Are they any good? Do they look correct? I'm not doing 100 point restos, just building really nice riders. Thanks in advance!

OK for a rider.
Very firm.
Not an exact grain or texture match on the cover.
Had to make a few adjustments to the mounts.
Very Poor paint on the pan but not visable on the bike.[/img]

My experiences with these Asian seats weren't good. Very poor quality. Seat pan material was very weak and some of them don't even come with a seat strap. Other than that there perfect :)

Thanks to all for the input! Yeah, I figured they weren't too good. I did get a nice cover off of ebay, with the exception of the Honda logo painted in gold, repaired the foam with foam from another Superhawk seat, welded and painted the pan, and it came out pretty nice. Now, what to do for the next Superhawk I'm restoring!

Heres what mine looks like mounted on the bike.
A little stiff but nice enough for a daily rider.
Had to "file out" the front mounts and hammer adjust the rear.
Bottom of pan looks like crap but is not seen.
Threw is a pic of my 65 scrambler. Couldn't resist the opportunity.

Looks nice! My seat is original but could use a new cover. The original isnt terrible but not great either.
