I was looking for a solo seat for my '62 305 Dream and a friend gave me this seat. I'm not sure what model its from but the size works and I need to figure out how to attach it. The back says Honda Made in USA. I've never seen one with the Made in USA on the back. Anyone know what model bike this is from?

Some models were made in the US till 2009 in Marysville Ohio....gold wings, vtx, some shadows I think, and maybe some others.
I don't readily recognize that seat though.

Maybe the passenger seat from a Shadow?

Oh, you're good! A passenger seat.....that explains the flat bolts to attach it. It looks pretty good on the Dream. The size works nice. I got it from a really cool guy that I met several times at vintage bike shows. He makes his own bikes and restores old Honda's. He's got like 25 bikes and not one of them is older than 1975! He's raced at Daytona and Barber and he's been on that show Cafe Racer. His name is Scott Turner and he's amazingly creative. So I have to see if I can figure out a way to attach it. Something to keep me busy while I get my gas tank fixed!

I'll be interested to see how it goes...
I've been experimenting with an older Shadow front seat without much sucess.
The shape of the plastic base and the up-flip of the rear doesn't want to co-operate.
Maybe a passenger seat would fit better?

How about a pic of the underside?

I'll get some pics tonight after work. The front curve works nice with the lines of the gas tank. I'm taking the other seat off to see what it will really look like. The bracket underneath can be taken off and hopefully fitted with a different bracket. I'll get back to ya!

Bottom of seat.....There are two screws in the back that I'm hoping I can use for the springs.

Thanks for the pic!
Looks like you have a good start.
The plastic base of the front seat I have didn't fit the contour of the Dream frame at all, but yours looks promising.
Keep us updated.
