Does anyone know if this tail light is correct for the Dream. I've looked at dozens of other Dream photos and can't find another like it. I don't have the lens, so if someone can ID this, I can try and find a replacement lens. It is stamped Stanley 62252.

Hi
One of my Dreams has the same tail light and indicators.
I replaced the old tail light lens . Numbers on lens are Stanley HM - 6RC and then a sub number of RR30. I found a replacement on Ebay somewhere. Sorry my History doesnt seem to contain the link. It wasnt listed as a dream primarily if I remember. The replacement lens the smaller circle was more central than the broken original but I was happy enough.
Hope this helps a little
regards

Oh great, that's good to hear. Thanks for that. The tail light assembly is such a good fit, hugging the fender curve, that I thought it must be original. Is it possible the Australian and Canadian models are a bit different?

I guess. Strangely I have two C77s both 1964 , the one I showed you with the lights like yours, and one with the more common tail light and the indicator lenses fitted direct to the aluminium shock mount bracket.
It might be a period / regulatory change on commonwealth bikes somewhere around 1964. My 1964 and 1966 CB77 project bikes have the respective variance between the tail lights. Someone may know the real answer.

In the US they made the lens bigger for safety reasons and is the light used on many bikes in 67 and 68. The lenses are on ebay. I may have a few here or there.
