ebay emergency - HELP

I listed this as a Scrambler starter button assy. Just got an email advising me (correctly) that Scramblers only had kick starters - DUH! So what the he$$ am I selling here? It's obviously from the right side, has an external wire, and the wire is colored as a starter button wire (yellow with a red stripe). This was originally found on the Superhawk I bought that had scrambler bars on it. Did any CB77's ever have the starter button wire exit the housing on the outside? Any advice appreciated!

Chuck, it appears to be a modified CB77 switch. This is what one had to do if one wanted to run CL bars, or drill the bars.

Thanks for the quick replies - I fixed up the listing. Tango911 - does it look like the switch housing on your '71?

Chuck, the later CL switches are completely different.

Agreed - this one looks just like a CB77 housing except for the wire coming out through that hole with the factory-looking wire grommet. I've contacted all who bid on it and they seem to like it just the way it is, so the sale goes on. Ebay won't let me change the title after someone bids.
P.S. '64 CB77 almost there, just waiting on fenders to come back from paint. In the mean time, my son bought a 250 Ninja and we've been having fun with that. Turns out the extra 55 cc's on my Dream don't make up for all that new technology. I have to use "old age and treachery" (cheat) to beat him down the street. Can't wait till he leaves for school next week so I can ride it.
