This is from the very first engines with the case breather.
I have a NOS/OEM one here that isn't broken.
The location for the single points condenser makes me think it's from a C/CA72/77. ..............lm

Ed, Could this be from a CR71, notice the tach drive. I had at one time some CR71 parts, if I could find it in my mess I think I still have a top cover/mount. Just a guess. Cliff

I have looked at mine and I think it is from a 61 CB72 tach drive and all.
It isn't tapped/no threads for the 360 crank single points condenser so as HONDA always (bikes to USA) mounted the condenser to the right side coil mount I'd say it is for the 1961-- 180 crank, case vent engine.
How many holes at the bottom of the cylinders?. ...............lm

Hi LM,

It has the 360 degree crank, and a 8 hole cylinder and a single point ignition.
