These say they are for CB72/77 - will they fit the early forks? Looks like they will, but I'm away for a few days and don't have my parts listings with me...

My parts manual says these are for CB77-311503 to CB77-1030129...... The manual shows an earlier ring....I'm pretty sure these are for the later forks, but someone might know if there's much difference.
