Tunster

I'm in Derby, too. Post some pics and give us the numbers and we can help you out. Anything else is guesswork.

You need the frame number (on the headstock) to officially date the bike.

Hi Tunster welcome to the forum. I'm just up the road from you in Leeds and currently restoring 1964 CB77 and CB72 so happy to share experiences. You will find a wealth of helpful information on the site and some very experienced and knowledgeable members. As G Man says if you post your engine and frame numbers these can identify the year of manufacture, also if you remove the petrol tank you should find a white tag on the wiring harness which bears the year of production.
