1967 CB77 coming along

Hello all. Still new to this website, so first of all, thanks for the responses to my other listings regarding my white '65 CB77. It is now completely disassembled, but I have decided to put it on the back burner at least until I get my '67 finished. I just got the seat pan and front wheel finished, and thought that I would share some pictures of how it is looking. The seat was hand made out of sheet metal (not by me) and is still awaiting upholstery. I am planning on going with gray leather. sewn in strips like the old factory racing seats. I had the front hub drilled out, and am using Excel shouldered aluminum rims with stainless steel spokes/nipples. The tires are Avons, and fit very nicely with no clearance problems with the front fender. Still waiting on the rear wheel. I hope to have the top end on the motor within the next week or so. I am leaving it mostly stock, with the exception of a Megacycle cam and electronic ignition. The pistons and rings appear to be fairly fresh (I have the service records since '69 - thanks to some Air Force mechanic) and appear so as well. Well, thats about it for now. Thanks again for the responses, and sorry for the mess in the pictures. My wife isn't too happy about it either.

superchicken - thanks, I'm pretty happy with how it is turning out. It should be a pretty tight bike when I am done, with the new shocks, wheel bearings, stem bearings, etc. I am going to be using new tapered stem bearings, so that should help a lot, as the old ones were getting kind of sloppy. The bearings are for the CL450, which are the same as the CB77 going off of the part numbers. Has any one else used these? I "test fit" them on another frame/triple clamp, and they seem to work perfect.

looks nice! what size rims and tires are you going with?

deez - I am using Excel shouldered aluminum rims, 2.15X18 in the rear and 1.85X18 in the front. As for the tires, they are Avon Roadriders, 100/90X18 in the rear and 90/90X18 in the front. I got the rear wheel finished, and it looks great mounted on the bike. I took some more pictures, but outside this time, and they look a little better, albeit a bit out of focus. Now just to strip it down all the way and powdercoat the frame and paint the fenders, sidepanels, etc. I sure can't wait to get this bike finished, especially since I was only able to get in a few rides before it lost spark to the right cylinder, and it seemed like a sign to go ahead and fix her up.
