1961 CB72 ProjectLM has come to the rescue with a beautiful 10mm plug head for the project. It's winging its way to my friends house at the moment and I will pick it up next month. Many thanks LM!
I have an original "big sprocket" and cam to go in there and some good valves and rockers. G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72

Just found this thread. Amazing craftsmanship and detail. Thanks for sharing your restoration with this thread. I'm learning so much about these beauties. I seem to be on this board way too much thanks to posts like this. May I ask how you repaired the pinholes in the tank after media blast? Six Six
I was in a hurry to get the parts painted, so I'm afraid that I used a better tank. It is my intention to dent the area(s) a little then braze up the holes. Hopefully I can grind the repair and just use a little filler to smooth it out. Glad you like the thread. I am enjoying getting into the detail on this bike. There are a lot of knowledgeable and helpful folks on this forum who have provided me with guidance and parts. Yes, there is a lot of info here if you are prepared to look for it. G

Do you plan installing the high compression 250 pistons G? ................lm

I would like to but I'm not sure if that is going to work with our unleaded gas. I have a selection of pistons but have not recently looked at them to work out what I have. I do have a set of Hepolite HC pistons but I think they came out of a race bike and have even higher crowns than the early Honda Pistons. G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72
