305 CA 77 horn

Post by Woodsie » Sun Jan 10, 2016 8:24 pm

The horn on my 1966 Dream sounds anemic. Does anyone have a working horn that would be willing to sell to me. Thanks

I might be wrong, but I thought these horns had an adjustment screw. I would also check voltage at the horn while holding the button. Bad wiring or a corroded button contact could make your horn sound anemic too.

I tried the adjustment but I did not do any voltage checks or connection inspections. So that is what I shall do. Thanks mate.

There's also a good write up on repairing a horn on this site from a few years ago. It might be worth a look. Best of luck to you.
