Cb77 bars and switch knob
Cb77 bars and switch knobThere's probably a lot more I will need, but this is mainly what I'm looking for right now. Wanted for restoration project:
CB77(late) mid rise handlebars CB77 light switch knob CB77 RIGHT tank chrome panel Thank, Doug "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy." Red Green
Thanks, Steverino. Whew! That knob might be a little rich for my blood. I was hoping someone might have a gently used one in a junk box. As far as the tank panel, I will likely be getting some parts replated, so I'm just looking for a strait one. Although the NOS new one is very enticing. So how does a fellow with US dollars go about buying from CMS in Euros?

NOS is expensive but with this knob, it is worth it. They don't weather well and are brittle. That's probably why your Dad needs one. You can spend half as much on a used one that could crumble upon installation. I am not speculating on what might happen, this has happened to me with this knob. I bought mine from this seller and it is very nice.
About CMS, I have always been happy with their parts, they are very accurate in their descriptions and they ship fast. If you have a credit card it's just like any other online purchase. The company is prospering because they do their job so well. By the way, if you need mufflers you might want to get them while the getting is good. S I've only been working on my CB77 for about a year and there are guys on the forum that have been working on them since they were new so take my ranting with a grain of salt.
Thanks for the info and your rants are always welcome with me. Dad's bike needs a lot of soft parts because it was badly burnt in a garage fire. I bought a donor parts bike a while with many good parts, but the knob is about to crumble and the bars are a piece of galvanized pipe. I've already got a set of mufflers from David Silver Spares so all is good there. I will try to post pics in the restoration section once I learn how to make them fit. Hopefully the old Superhawk will look as good as yours soon.
