Wanted Rear Winkers 305 Dream

Post by catterar » Fri Dec 20, 2013 9:00 am

I'm looking for a set of rear winkers for a 305 Dream. Anyone have a pair they want to sell.
I have the fronts, right hand switch and flasher, just need the rears to complete the set-up.
Thanks,
Bob

You can buy lenses from Asia; OEM or cheap re-pops. The tail light screws will work to mount them. You can fab a seal.

Finding an OEM bulb holder is very difficult, but, NAPA should have a light from which you could rob some if you do a little looking.

This won't technically be OEM, but no one would be able to tell when it is assembled.

Hope that helps.

I have thought about going this route but when I search ebay it appears that there is a wedge shaped piece that fits between the lense and the shock bracket http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Dream-Ben ... 1480wt_970.

So far I have only been able to locate the left hand piece. I don't want to buy just one side so I'm waiting until I can locate both sides.

CA78 winkers

That wedge piece is for CA77 winkers and mounts on the fender. You don't need them.

For the CA78 you can just remove the plate at the back of the luggage supports and the winker lens mounts right there. Hole for the screws should be there ready to go.

OK! Thanks, I didn't realize that. I'd been going by pictures on the internet. I'll get my self some lenses and rig up some kind of light socket and should be good to go.
