oil guide and oil filter chain

Post by Jethro » Thu Nov 04, 2010 11:33 pm

I got a non-running ca77 that I'm restoring. When I got it it had the left side cover off. I noticed the oil filter chain and the oil guide that fits in the center of the clutch is missing. Does anyone have one they can part with?

Thanks, Jethro.

Jethro,
I have the chain. Do you need the tube that goes through the oil filter or the clutch? I have both.
I'll send what you need for the cost of postage.

Just one other thing,do you have the washer that goes behind the filter? I don't have that though.

Mike

Hi Mike
Thanks for the message. So I split the cases yesterday and when I pulled bottom half off, I noticed the oil filter chain was stuck under the left side sump baffle. Not sure how it got there but if I had to guess, whoever took the left side cover off years ago, put it halfway into that little hole in the case by the cleaner and the bike just was forgotten at that point. So now I have the cleaner chain! But I do believe I am still missing a piece for the oil guide. I have the piece with the spring pinned inside but isn't there another piece that fits inside of it and goes between the clutch and the case or something like that?

Thanks Mike
