In resurrecting my starter solenoid, I managed to mangle one of the two rusty 4mm x 0.5 screws holding it together. I went to the hardware store to get replacements, but ISO 4mm seems to be a different thread pitch, which is 0.7. This is a bit of a mystery, since my JIS to ISO conversion chart tells me that the thread pitch for 4mm ISO and JIS are the same 0.7. I did a computer search and found another chart that claimed the JIS 4mm is 0.75 pitch. ????
Whatever the case, I need at least one replacement screw. Two would be better. If anyone has some in their hoard and is willing to share, I'd gladly pay for the screw(s) and postage.
