Rear Sprocket

Post by SMBH » Fri Jun 13, 2014 4:22 am

Have a 1964 CB77 and it is fitted with a 30T rear sprocket I understand it should have a 34T so will a 34T sprocket from any other model Honda fit or has any one in the UK have a 34T sprocket for sale or swop, must be in good condition. thanks for looking.

Mike

My book says that 30T is correct for a CB77. 32 or 34 teeth for a CB72.

MMMMM Intresting that back in 1965 my CB77 in 4th 6,000 RPM WAS 60 mph on the speedo as I have no idea what gears are in this engine, it has 15T and 30T sprockets.

Any idea what RPM in 4th gear on the flat should I see at 60mph.

Thanks for the reply I will save myself some money and keep what I have I think I have spent to much of my pension on it so far.

Still waiting (5 months ) for the Electronic ignition from Charlies and I have paid for it im hoping the bike will rev more freely.
