Teacher Needed

Post by nowhere » Wed Aug 14, 2013 7:51 pm

Hello Fellow Enthusiasts!

I have recently acquired a 1965 Honda CB77 Superhawk that is not in the best condition. I believe that it needs some parts replaced, a little sprucing up, and a lot of love. I wish to set out on an adventure to rebuild it, but the problem is that I have no knowledge on how to do this. I have already had help from various members and I am grateful for the advice they have supplied, but I fear that I will not be able to get all the advice, knowledge and help that I need just from posts on a this forum.

So I am reaching out to all of you for help. I am searching for a teacher. I have the drive, motivation and determination to learn everything that is needed for the job. I am not asking anyone to buy anything for me, nor am asking for anyone to do the work for me. What I am asking for is someone to guide me, teach me, and help me with my adventure of rebuilding this motorcycle so that I may have future adventures with this cycle and the knowledge of how to care for and fix the cycle on my own.

I reside in San Diego County in Southern California and if you, or if you know of someone who lives within or close to the area and is willing to take on a very willing student under their wing, please send me a personal email!

I thank you ALL for your past and future help!

I live in El Cajon, what can I do and how can I help? I have only worked on CL77's but the procedure for restoring any vehicle is the same.

PM me if I can be of assistance.
