Hi all, I'm building a semi racer look CB72 at present. I've just found that one of my for legs has seen a little bit of previous "action" which has damaged the hard chrome. The bigger worry is that the same stanchion has some pretty hefty corrosion just under the bottom yoke clamp. It's bad enough for me not to want to use it & also I don't really want to spend money having it rechromed.
So - does anybody have a fork stanchion they would be prepared to sell to me? I'd obviously have a full leg if one is going.
It's the early style fork with the steel lower slider & chrome screw on oil seal holder.
I'm in the UK.....
I've got some stock bits that I'd be happy to trade as I don't need them (unfortunately a very limited selection of bits!)
