250 Dream Cylinder Head needed

Post by Paul Strassmaier » Tue Jul 10, 2012 12:42 pm

Well, I've hit a snag in the rebuild, and need a usable 250 Dream cylinder head. It's easy to spot in that it will have one carb intake. It will also have the earlier small 10mm plug size, and not the more common larger 250/305 plugs. If you know of anything, please let me know! Thanks, Paul

Paul

I have a spare 1960 Dream head, 10mm plugs. Would prefer a swap of some sort. I'm looking for a fuel tank trim and low-bar indicators, but would be interested in what you have.

Do you need cam etc..? PM me.

Paul

I'm sorry to say that my 'spare' 250 head has become needed for my Dream project. When I look at the head I was going to use is has a bunch of bent and broken fins so until I can see if the damage can all be repaired neatly, I will need to hang on to the spare.

I apologize for getting your hopes up. I may be able to liberate one of them later this year.

I just happen to have a good carburetor (minus the return spring) for one.
