Needle in a haystack requests, but I need a stator, stator rotor and starter chain for my 1965 CA77.

Stator/Rotor/Starter Chain Needed

Post by cbxmountainman » Wed Feb 22, 2012 9:02 am

Are they the same as on a CB/CL77 (except for the chain on a CL of course)? If so, I can probably help you out. I'll have to look thru my "stuff".

Stator and rotor

I think they CB/CL parts would generate electricity, but the timing marks will be off. 180 degree vs 360 degree motors.

Generating electricity just might have to be good enough. I can put my own marks on the rotor that are correct for a 360 degree crank.

Have to go out of town today. I'll dig thru my "stuff" tomorrow and email you. Am pretty certain I have all except the chain. I do know I have a good CB77 starter also if needed. Maybe a package deal of sorts.
