WANTED: Scrambler starter needed

Hi, Looking for a starter for a 66 scrambler.Tag says: CA 08 R or B no. 3FO 198 12V .Prefer nos or name and number of someone who is reputable to rebuild the one I have.Thanks

I didn't think Scramblers had electric start?

Sorry, thats just what I was told.Its probably a DREAM engine.Anyway, now its shoehorned into a Mustang Stallion frame.

Seeing as the mustang has downtubes its very possible that a starter won't fit. The starter is also chain drive so you will need a few parts besides just the starter if it were to fit.

The frame was altered back in the 60's and the engine has a starter already.It fires up right away with the kick starter but spoiled on that electric starter!

Got any pic's of that thing? There's an ol' fella round' here with one, and that's the only one I've ever seen in the flesh.
