well i've got a problem finding either the early or late version of this part and would like to know if anyone has retro fit thier clutch cable with an improvised part of thier own?

i can get flat bar stock aluminium i just need to see what the early model piece looks like so i have an idea of the angled sides and how it wedges in place.

i'll make a bunch and give them out for christmas just need that first visual
