Superhawk search!

Post by drbuggy66 » Tue Apr 11, 2006 7:36 pm

Hello,
I am new to this forum. I am searching for a 305 Superhawk.
I live in North East PA. I am looking for a good rider, or a fairly decent project bike. I am fairly handy, but not looking for a basket case.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated!!!
I will hopefully be posting more on this forum in the months to come.

Thanks,
-Marcus

I know where there is one in a shed on a farm and will need restored, but may not get to see the owner for a awhile, but I'll post if I do. I live near Hershey.I think it may be hard to find one that won't need restored. You could also wait and go to the White Rose Japanese show near York, pa in August. They usually have some bikes for sale down there. Also, there is a show in Oley, Pa near Reading this month. Not sure what all is there though.

Thanks for the info. Keep me posted on the one in the shed! I am not in a super hurry. I have a truck so I am able to pick it up.
As for the shows comming up I will check into those.

Thanks a bunch!!

-Marcus

Thanks for the idea.....
I have been checking out the e-bay thing lately. I actually was the highest bidder on a few superhawks within a reasonable drive, but due to a few reasons...(too high reserve, not disclosing enough info, etc..) I still am in my search.
I just thought that a referral from someone on this site would be valuable to my search!!!

Thanks again for any info!!!

Dr, I'm sure you are right, it pays to be cautious. Good luck on your search. Steve

Still searching. A deal arose on e-bay for a fixer-upper '65 superhawk, but the owner did not have the title. I want to stick with finding a bike that has the title.
Keep your ears and eyes open, I really apreciate any leads you guys have for me!!!

thanks again!!!
-Marcus :)
