Stock Winker Flasher Relay Location

Post by Seadog » Wed Dec 16, 2015 7:16 pm

I've picked up a NOS wiring harness for my Dream project and found that it includes the winker wires and wires for the flasher relay. Nice. However, the two relay wire connectors are in the bundle of wires that go to the generator and neutral switch. That seems to indicate that the winker relay would be located somewhere near the right side engine cover. Could someone tell me it's exact location? A photo would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

The grey and black wires are bundled with the alternator and neutral switch bullet connections, but then run straight up inside the pressed frame. The relay is hidden there, and is bolted to the frame just above the ignition coil.

Thanks for that, Hamamatsu Nippon. I'll look at the frame tomorrow and see if I can figure out where the stock flasher would bolt in. I saw in the parts diagram it has an odd shaped angular bracket. That should help narrow things down.
