CB77 speedo/tach bulbs

Post by revlover » Tue Oct 27, 2015 7:49 pm

Does anyone know of part numbers for bulbs that fit the cb77 gauges. I've found similar ones at auto parts stores, but the glass globes are always just a tad too large. Thanks for your help.

Thanks G-man. I found two possible choices 2 watt or 4 watt. I think the original Stanley bulbs were 3.4 watt. Does that sound right?

Did you check with a HONDA dealer.
My parts book shows 34902-259-000
BULB, DASH (12V3
I assume that to mean 12 VOLT 3 watt. ..........................lm

You could also try https://www.superbrightleds.com/ they are kinder to your charging system, cooler running too, I have them in my 400 gauges.

Thanks guys. I just thought of everything cb77 as being obsolete and never considered a dealer. The LED's are a good idea with the already marginal charging system. RadioShack has a jumbo blue LED I thought I might add a resistor and use for the neutral indicator.
