1965 CB77 wiring help

Post by promking » Sat May 09, 2015 10:30 pm

I took out my headlamp to clean up some of the wiring.... I was looking at the diagram I found on here in color and there's an extra green wire? On my bike... I sew on the diagram for the green grounds there's only three connected out of the 4 possible slots?

Can anyone confirm for me that this is correct. Thank you.

Also chasing down bad wires etc the speedo bulbs work when Iannually ground Them the same with the neutral light what's the trick with these guys?

Three connections is the right number, one green wire from the headlight switch connects to a wire powering the speedo dash light . The third wire goes back to the main switch(tail light). Early Honda CB77s don't have much for ground wires, a short wire tying the headlight& dash light bulbs to the headlight rim is about it. The headlight rim needs to be mounted and the screws tightened to get a ground.
