cb72 neutral safety light and high beam warning light

Post by arseatea » Thu Nov 15, 2012 2:39 pm

According to the drawing in my book, the neutral safety lamp fits into the blue angled receptor in the headlight case just opposite the on/off switch. That just sounds wrong. I thought that would be the place for a high-beam warning light, if I had one. Is that the correct location? And is this bike supposed to have a high-beam warning light? If so, mine is missing. Also, what is the red colored hole in the top of the tach/speedo bezel for? Seems to me, that would be the place for the neutral lamp, but it does not fit that location snuggley.

Sometimes I have a problem posting, especially when sending a thank you. But, I appreciate all the help you all have given me over the past year and hope to get this rascal up and running soon. Thanks...Ron
