GREEN WIRES...

Post by DCON » Sat Apr 30, 2011 8:30 am

when i took it apart years ago, i said no problem. straight foward.
now putting it together...
the green wires in the headlight bucket on my 65 cb77.
the only one with a white "tracer?" is coming from the headlight bulb. does this connect to the female connector that screws into the speedo unit? and the remaining 4 greens connect to the 4way female connector? i think that is correct but wanted to double check seeing as how a white tracer seems to have dissappeared...without a trace.

DCON,

The green w/ white tracer is a ground wire, the other greens are powered. The green from the headlight grounds to the speedo body as you suggested.
