Coil on my AC Generator CA77 Dream 300

Question: One of the 6 coils on the AC Generator has a break in it. Will this effect the the charging on my bike? Also will this effect the Spark to the spark plug to be weak???? Any Info will be Thankful

As long as there are no wires broken the part will be OK. .........lm

there is a break in 1 of the wound coils where it's wound is what I met. Will that cause a problem??? Thanks for the info

If you have a broken wire the part is bad. You may be able to splice it. Use a OHM meter amd measure from wire to wire and you should read "short" from each wire to each wire. There is a Yellow/Green/Red wire that should not read to anything until connected to the neurtral switch. ..............lm

New member here and I had the same problem with the stator coil on my 76 Honda CB 500 T. My charging voltage was only 11.5 volts so I found a cycle salvage yard and bought a good used stator that fixed my problem.
