Tom, I can try. Are thes components disconnected? That is a good thing to start with. Except the solenoid(for the starter)leave it hooked to the battery....a goood battery and mounted to the chassis. On the solenoids pos. terminal you should measure battery voltage. Connect a wire to the chassis or engine block, and touch the end to the small stud on the solenoid. You should hear a click and should be able to measure battey voltage on the terminal across from the battery connection. If that is so then your good with that. The conderser,,,using a OHM meter that is analog connect the neg. lead to the case of the condenser and touch the pos. lead to the wire coming out of the condenser. You should see the meter sweep up and back down without hesitation. On a CB or CL you have two wires exiting the condenser, check them both for the same responce. The coil, you have two small terminals on the top one is + one is - . Connect a battery positive wire to the + terminal. Connect the spark plug wire to the coil and leave the other end near a ground about 1/4 inch away. connect the battery ground to the same area where you have the spark plug wire resting and run a wire from the ground of the charger to the - side of the coil, just flash across it. By doing that it should produce a spark from the spark plug lead. If it does a nice bluish spark than your good. Not as sure about the rectifier but meter the red wire as the bike is running and it should show somthing more than battery voltage ie 12.8 or so. Well try all that if it helps Good Luck Let us know how you come out,Steve Greer
