Finished (well, in a bodged sort of way) the turn signals on Mike's Baby. My thanks go out to Flathead, e3steve ( a while back for instructions) and all the others who gave me info and advise.
The job is bodged, BUT they work and look quite presentable if you are not too close.
Attached find a couple of pics.
Would also note that I received the basic kit and crimping tool from Vintage Connections and I am impressed with the quality of the crimping tool. Very nice.

Plated Mike's Baby yesterday and rode to town to gas it up. Bike runs great !! One of the el cheapo, sexy looking, imitation carbon fiber, chick magnet turn signals gave up the ghost before I hit town. About 2 miles. I'm now looking for some CB 350 signals to replace them all. Have some small transmisiion issues, but otherwise I'm like a kid with a new HOnda.

Well, I got another set of turn signals, and these did the trick. Replacements for CB 350. The stems replace the bolts in the headlight bucket, and the ground can be doubled back into the stem as the ground, since there's nowhere to plug it inside the bucket. The rears just need to be shortened to clear the fender, and make sure there's contact with the frame for a good ground.
Look period too .
