<<<<<<<<I know the connectors are not original Honda. I don't know why they changed the conectors??>>>>>>>>>>
OK now lets say I had a idea of some sort which I thought I could add a wire from the stater and run it to a couple of places.
Now I want to protect it and make it look origional.
I want to add it at the stator with the other 4 wires but I can not pull/push it through the origional covering.
So I get new covering (the covering at the end is not original as you can see that it changed at the middle bulge) to run the 5 wires through but I can't do that with the connectors attached.
So I cut them off and push/pull the 5 wires into the sleeve then I install new connectors.
Ever do that?
I do it every time I replace the covering at the steering head on the harness which enters the headlight bucket.
However I heat the connectors and remove them so I can solder them back to the wires.
I'd say what ever the idea was it didn't do what the installer wanted as it is cut out at several places.
I'm not sure the DREAM had 2 different switches but you can assume the one on your bike may be origional. ................lm

It 's the only place on the whole bike where they changed the connectors..
The wiring is original...
In the headlighbucket and unit I find no modified wiring, all looks original and all original connector are there...
All wiring colors are also correct when I check my diagram..
I find also some info about the contact switch and I saw there are 2 differend switches a 5 and a 6 stand switch..
What is the original type for 1964 and what is the difference in funtion of the two?
