cb77 wiring

i'm new to the forum, just bought a 1965 CB77 that i believe is pretty much original, including the wiring. i also have the "honda 250/300 shop manual that says it includes the CB77. However, thw wiring diagram doesn't correspond to what i have . For example, my bike has no electric starter. Can anyone help me understand?

All CB 77's should have electric start unless someone has removed it.

It may help if you are able to post a picture of your bike.

Thanks, Hahnda.... As i said i'm new to this and i see now there does appear to be an electric starter that doesn't work. I was confused because the seller told me to start it with the kickstart. Now I have to sort out the wiring!!

Ken, welcome to our forum. There are many of us here who can guide you through all manner of diagnostic routines; it's like having your own bespoke Workshop Manual.

First, and foremost, please edit-in your geo-location within your profile.

Second, try to post some images of your bike. If you're not sure how, just ask.

Your e-starter problem could be a whole host of things, but none of them is insurmountable; here is our easy-to-follow colour wiring diagram, for starters (no pun!).
