Has anyone found a Sealed Gel Battery for the CB77? Can you give me a make and Part Number?

Bkelly, Welcome newbie, glad to see you getting involved. I am using a "stack" of panasonic jell batteries from some electronic equipment. My brother is an electronics desinger and had them around. I called him for information and all I got was that they are 2 volt and he assembled 6 of them. I had to modify my battery box to fit them so all in all I can't recomend this way to go. Unless you are modifing your bike anyway (that is what I'm doing) I am told that a search on the net will get you what your looking for; size, voltage, and amps etc. Good luck with your search, mabey others will be of more help. I posted this info under the 'Marginal Charging' topic I started, but I'll put it here too. The battery that will work is a Power Sonic PT14B-4 battery. It's 12.5AH, 135 CCA, and it weighs 9.5 lbs., and it's 6"x 2 3/4" x 5 3/4". You need to make some minor modifications to the battery box for it to fit, and the poles are opposite what a the standard Yuasa is, so you'd have to get some different battery cables. Plus, this sucker is $ 120.00. You can get info from www.power-sonic.com. So there you go...
