bad switch/??please help guys
bought a beautifully restored cb77 everything new/redone but have i guess a dead short when engine running kills battery in 5 miles ballistic white wire to switch was drain it seemed to go nowhere , maybe kill switch that my bike doesnt have disconnected it thought all was well noticed a few minutes ago that if i turn key to taillight position maybe 1 in 10 times the engine starter tries to engage ever so slightly as the key turns from the middle position right to taillight only but never from when turning from full left off to 1st own switch seems to ever so briefly go to ground as though you mashed starter button do not have a battery drain with engine not running but a 5 minute drive will kill battery i can start it 30 times (instantly cranks, elec ignition)in the shop letting it idle each time no problem just cant go anywhere sorry to ramble just kinda overwhelmed right now edit................ now im really depressed $270 for a switch tell me it aint the switch
Re: bad switch/??
ok does anyone have a lead on a switch whether new or retrofit
disconected temporarily the yellow wire in the headlight bucket and cranking with kick starter while waiting on switch charging system working fine battery not instantly draining anymore
