I have a '66 Dream. (also a '66 CB450). I just got one of these babies from Charlie's Place....keeps both bikes up and charged fantastic. And looks like an original piece. My charging system never kept my batt up, esp after driving at night, but now I don't even have to trickle charge unless they sit. I think in those days they just didn't know how to regulate correctly....Check them out at Charlie's-Place.com

They are, I got one too...I can't believe they are like 4 times as bright....finally I feel safe driving where there is a lot of ambient light in the city
