Hotshoe..that flat tracker is cool...love the pipes what does it sound like? can you run it without a battery?

That bike is beyond cool, my pal who owns it now and I are going to restore it back to the condition it was in when our deceased buddy built it and raced it at Ascot in the 60's as a tribute to him.
Those are called TT pipes and they're my favorite style, no turn outs on the ends and they tuck in under the engine like the Triumph TT Special pipes did.
305s with TT pipes have a deeper, flatter tone without the more destinctive, higher pitched scrambler pipe snarl that I prefer.
We put some spark arrestors on the ends of the pipes to keep the neighbors happy while we were riding it, I guarantee you uncorked TT pipes are REALLY loud!
It doesn't have a battery, it has a 305 dyno that was converted to a magneto.
