Are the lock nuts installed to hold the switch in place?

I found the issue and its solved now! Thanks guys.. it was just the tension point that I had to reach to get it to sit just right.

Good deal!

Notice how close the un-insulated connectors at the top of the switch are to the frame?

If the switch nut vibrates loose and allows the switch to move, the connectors can ground to the frame and blow a fuse...don't ask how I figured that out!
