I'm sorry to say, but I make pictures of every thing I'm doing on my bikes, including repairing a CB72 relay. These pictures I made 5 /6 months ago, becuase this flasher had the probably the same problem as your has.
So I didn't do it specially for you, but trowed in the pictures because someone was asking, the pictures were waiting for this kind of question.
btw, my condenser was toast, and didn't hold the juice long enough to hold the relay, that's why is buzzing. The relay is fully functional, but the frequency is "a little" to high to notice. The condenser determines the frequency.
But sometimes the relay part is just dirty and / or the distance between the contacts has changed, that's why you first have to clean it, clean the contacts, and try to re-adjust the distance with the screw in the pictures. This readjusting is done by playing with it, listening to it, becuase I found different distances over different relay's. I think this adjusting was done manually in the factory, becuase the distance is depending on many parameters.
I repair these relay's on a regular basis, sometimes they pop-up on local markets, mostly not functioning. I found that around 50 % of the relay's have a condenser issue, so I hope you're on the lucky side,

It seems these flasher cans/winker relays require a ground, therefore not just the simple bi-metal type; please ignore my previous post. Looks like a 'simple', crude electronic type with the capacitor & resistor stabilising the flash rate.
Most electronic winker relays require a ground connection to complete the circuit.
