Problem: Tail light and Brake light not working when battery is connected.
Checked all wiring behind the lamp.
Unhooked the battery and fired up the dream, turned the lights on and the Tail light and Brake light worked fine.

Is your battery charged?
You will need a test light to trace down the problem. Ground one end, and work your way from the light to the battery to find where the problem is. I have one like this: https://www.makariosrv.com/products/12% ... Light.html You can get them at hardware stores, auto supply, walmart, etc. Gunner
got it guys, finally after i cleaned my garage and cleared my mind I got going on it. It ended up being two totally different problems that just happened at the same time.
prob: both the rear light and the high beams went out at the same time. Tail light fix: was just the bracket connected to the fender needed tightened. I started with a single wire, touching it from the ground to the light to dif parts of the frame starting from the middle of the frame and heading back toward the tail light. High Beam fix: After looking at all the connections i pulled the rubber piece off the back of the lamp and saw the blue wire where it connects to the lamp had come loose. The solder was dry. So i just took the lamp off, put it on the desk, removed the old solder and re-solder the connection. Now im golden. It just seemed weird that this happened at the same time.
