alternator adaptable

Post by hondauser » Sat Jun 12, 2010 1:00 am

hello folk !!

I just purchased a regulator and alternator cb77 adaptable for 225 $

www.rmstator.com

( i have not fitted it on bike yet for any control of current delivery and regulation with light on )

it seems ok but I am a bit surprised by the fact that it involves only 1 phase ???

( instead of 2 rectified & 1direct on original system )

what do you think about

Someone on this site has installed one of these, and was quite happy with the performance. The origional only used the 3rd phase when the headlight was switched on, adding more juice to battery to keep it from draing.
